Discover the new edition of the Juridical Magazine of the Presidency

The 132nd edition of the Juridical Journal of the Presidency of the Republic is available in PDF for free. Published every four months, the magazine is dedicated to the publication of unpublished scientific articles, resulting from research and independent studies on the performance of the Public Power in all areas of Law.
 
The novelty of this edition is the section, at the opening of the volumes, entitled “Thematic Dossier”. The scientific articles in this section highlight specific and relevant topics for the enrichment of the academic debate and, in the premiere, three texts on the period of the Covid-19 health crisis currently experienced are addressed.
 
The publications provide subsidies for reflections on national legislation and public policies developed at the federal level.
 
The journal publishes unpublished scientific articles by doctors, doctoral students and masters from national and foreign educational institutions and is classified by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) as Qualis A1, the highest category that a journal can receive, attesting to the quality of published articles. The journal has a section for articles in a foreign language, in which texts are published in English, Spanish or French.
 
Aimed at legal professionals from different legal careers, such as professors, students, researchers, lawyers, magistrates, prosecutors, prosecutors and public defenders, promoting legal issues and encouraging the construction of new knowledge, reflections and debates.
 
The content of the articles published in the Revista Jurídica da Presidente, including their veracity, accuracy and updating of information and research methods, is the sole responsibility of the author(s). The opinions and conclusions expressed do not represent the positions of the government or the Sub-chief for Legal Affairs of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic.
 
The Sub-chief for Legal Affairs of the Presidency of the Republic (SAJ) presides over the Editorial Board, edits rules that regulate the activities of the Journal and is responsible for managing, editing and publishing the journal. The SAJ is also responsible for seeking Technical Cooperation Agreements with Higher Education Institutions in order to appoint professors with a doctoral degree to integrate the Ad hoc Advisory Board; to disseminate the Revista Jurídica among its faculty and students, encouraging the production and publication of articles related to the study of national legislation and public policies; and publicize the partnership on the Institution's website.
 
The Center for Legal Studies of the Presidency of the Republic, which organizes the journal, created by Ordinance No. 434, of June 20, 2005, aims to promote, organize and coordinate activities aimed at professional improvement, updating and specialization of professionals in the Right in exercise in the Presidency of the Republic.
