G10 Favelas group

peripheral entrepreneurs closer to the financial market. The group's members toured the Brazilian stock exchange, talked to investors, attended lectures on business and, in a symbolic act, rang the traditional B3 bell. In an interview with Jovem Pan News, the president of the G10, Gilson Rodrigues, highlighted the importance of getting closer to the financial market and encouraging entrepreneurship and also gave details of the solidarity project at the end of the year: “At this moment when we are talking about a Christmas happy, supportive Christmas and people think about how they are going to have their supper. Many Brazilians don't even have lunch today. It is for us to look at these Brazilians and think about helping in some way. Our goal is to be able to offer 100,000 Christmas baskets throughout Brazil by December 24th”.

“We count on the solidarity of companies, people and child adoption campaigns, giving a gift or clothing so that Christmas can be happier for more and more people”, declared Gilson. The event also marked the donation of R$ 1 million in food baskets to the G10 Favelas program to combat hunger. Anyone can donate to the G10, either in person, in the neighborhood of Paraisópolis, at Rua Itamotinga, nº 100, or remotely through the Pix available on the website.
