BR-122 / CE is an important logistics corridor in the state - Photo: Minfra The transportation of goods and passengers along the BR-122 / CE has benefited from the restoration of 56 kilometers, between km 98 and km 154. The works, carried out by the Federal Government, will promote improvements in traffic conditions for the municipalities of Quixadá and Banabuiú, Ceará. The National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT) performed, among others, milling services, with the application of Hot Machined Bituminous Concrete (CBUQ); recycling, with Double Surface Treatment (TSD); drainage; and road signage. Now, other maintenance services will be carried out, such as mowing, weeding, whitewashing, cleaning and unblocking drainage devices. With an investment of R $ 23.7 million, several critical points throughout BR were eliminated. BR-122 / CE, which starts in the municipality of Chorozinho and goes towards the border with Pernambuco, is an important logistical corridor as it serves as a link between the north and the south-central and southern regions of Ceará.
